Traditional Thai Massage
An ancient and modern art of healing...
About ...
"Learning is discovering what you already know."
To do it is to demonstrate that you know it.
Teaching is reminding others that they know as well as you do.
We are all learners, doers, and teachers."
Richard Bach

My vision
To continue sharing and passing on this passion that has driven me for 25 years.
My practice has been enriched by teachings from ancestral traditions and contemporary approaches.
The ability to adapt my practice and teaching to the current world, like my Master Pichest Bonthumme.
The Sangha, a caring community centered around the practice of Thai massage, is a movement of sharing, exchange and support that is very dear to me.
That is why I am offering today a teaching as I received it:
* Open to all, evolving like you.
* In which you are free to come and go as you please.
* Supported by a group of practitioners
* And enriched by regular and supervised practice.
The short story
This is the story of a passionate man who meets another passionate woman...
When I met Nadia in Brussels, a friendship was born! I shared with her my new knowledge of Thai Massage, freshly acquired in Chiang Mai, Thailand (unknown at the time, it was 1999!).
Then a friend of Nadia's, then another, then a boyfriend, and that's it...
We started off tinkering, then I got organized, structured the teaching, and then created the Brussels Institute of Thai Yoga Massage in 1999.
...
The adventure continued for 10 years, it expanded and surrounded by other collaborators (up to 7 teachers, 8 courses in 2017) became Tradition Massage.
Too much bureaucracy for the teacher that I am, I am scaling back and returning to my first loves: simple teaching, direct transmission as I received it.
The spirit of my Master Pichest Bonthumme accompanies me every day.
The values
Kindness & support,
In my view, this is a prerequisite for any solid and lasting learning.
Tradition and evolution,
I didn't invent anything, it's what I was taught!
A solid and reliable foundation to rely on to keep up with the flow of life in constant motion.
Sharing & respect,
Sharing is a source of joy that creates the depth, the colors and the richness of our 'art of care'
Respect for oneself, one's limits, for others, for their possibilities, for my Masters and guides, sources of infinite inspiration.
Setting & humor,
Because the framework is the structure, our point of support from which we can establish ourselves and expand.
Humor because I learn better when I'm having fun, and life goes by so fast!

A discovery...
In 1996, during a trip to Asia, I discovered the benefits of Thai massage in a small neighborhood massage parlor in Bangkok.
I return to my guesthouse, my feet no longer touch the ground, I am weightless, like an astronaut taking his first steps on the moon.
An unprecedented feeling of space and freedom.
This is a revelation, I want to learn how to do that!
Repeat the experience, reproduce this experience and share it…
I return to France stamped with the Old Medicine Hospital of Chiang Mai, an initiation to Reiki as well as my first sun salutations in the 'Ashtanga Yoga' version.
A whole new world opened up to me, the beginning of a long journey… which continues today.
